Ed Vedra 028 | #Soulful #Balearic #DeepHouse Cocktail Party & Pre-Game Grooves (No AI)
This mix brings together ten distinct tracks from across the globe, all built around warm basslines, steady percussion, and laid-back grooves. It skips big drops and quick transitions in favor of letting each song breathe, setting a relaxed and soulful vibe.
The selections pull from several different scenes: smooth, jazz-inspired beats from Scotland (Aqua Bassino), organic percussion from Central Africa (Boddhi Satva), and classic, dusty house cuts straight out of the UK underground (BRS and Problem Kids).
As the set moves along, it drifts through breezy West Coast downtempo (Fresho), sunny Mediterranean synth melodies (Frank Borell alongside Charlie Spot and Groove Salvation), and stripped-down, hypnotic club rhythms from Paris and Germany (Dubfunk, DJ W!ld, and Daniel Bortz).
It captures the perfect early-evening energy, laid-back enough for drinks and conversation, but with a steady groove that will have you out of your seat a few tracks later. The energy stays approachable from start to finish, letting the music connect the dots between sunny open-air vibes and quiet basement grooves.
