About Me

About Me

Originally from Rochester, New York, now living in South Florida. I’ve been in the US Air Force for four years, decided that was enough of that, and went back to Rochester to attend Rochester Institute of Technology for a M.S. in Management. After graduating, I left for a job in Buffalo, NY. Buffalo is a great town, but way too cold and unpredictable weather. After a few brushes with death (sort of) in winter weather car accidents, I decided I needed some palm trees in my life. I took a leap of faith, gave away or sold nearly everything I owned and relocate to South Florida, and I’ve been here ever since.

Professional Background

What I do or have done in the past ranges from SEO, social media management, email marketing, website and social analytics, website and digital branding, strategy, and some (basic) web design and development. Right now, I'm the lead “Social Listening Analyst” at Zimmerman Advertising in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. LinkedIn

It’s very likely that in a parallel dimension or past life, I am or was a chef. I love food, I love the culinary world, and hope to one day learn more about it. I’m really interested in how food affects culture and people; I want to know what motivates the people to make and eat and love the certain foods they do, and the society they live in.

Ultimately, I love the important relationship that travel, food, and music share. Without one, I don't think we'd have the other two. It makes up who we are as humans. From these interests of mine, I'm thinking (hoping) that someday I'll open a small cafe or restaurant. I love traveling...whenever I can. When I say travel, I’m more interested in finding the weird or totally not tourist friendly hot spots. I keep a Travel Map of places I've been and places I'd love to go.
